About Fluture.
For me, happiness lies in dedicating effort and commitment to a meaningful purpose and feeling that you are progressing and getting closer to it every day.
Being able to pass on this spirit of self-improvement to students and help them achieve it is what truly motivates me.
The early stages of learning are fundamental in establishing positive habits that will last throughout a musician's life. That's why Fluture was created-to take care of these meaningful details that have both short- and long-term impact in instrumental study.
The instrument as a tool
to develop essential life values.
I'm María del Barrio, a transverse flute teacher, and I've developed this tool to support the learning process of flute students. By applying this innovative methodology, students show significant improvement in their progress, effort, autonomy, and interest-as well as in the overall quality of in-person lessons.
My main goal is to do things differently to bring change to the current situation. From a critical analysis of music education, I believe there are many possible changes that can provide real solutions to learning challenges that currently hinder student progress.
With these tools, we aim to transform the way classes are taught-engaging students in a more rewarding practice routine, with clear goals to achieve, based on effort, motivation, and enjoyable study.
The most important time in instrumental progress is not during class. In class, we make adjustments, offer guidance, and set the direction. But the fundamental time is when the student is alone, studying: learning how to study, what to focus on, and what to overcome in each exercise.
Therefore, I want flutists to feel happy as they become aware of their challenges and the results they are achieving. Effort → progress → happiness → motivation = more effort + more motivation + continued improvement.
